Whilst dealing with cancer for a long time I was looking for a positive new hobby, a friend suggested painting.
I have never looked back, primarily self taught, art has made me see the world in a new exciting way.
Originally from Australia so you will see that I love to paint Australian birds and scenes.
Having cancer for many years made me realise that I needed to make a change in my life. I quit my job of over 19 years to pursue art full time, shortly after making this decision my incurable cancer surprised doctors by disappearing.
I have also completed a number of mural projects with a friend in local schools and pre-schools. I love painting 'big' and bringing art alive for children has been a privilege. In 2020 I started painting murals on my garden fence during lockdown, which has led to future projects around the town I live in to bring art into the community.
